For example:
All doctors are smart.
Some baby is always crying.
No pig is thin.
Some dog's don't chase cats.
We may not use these types of claims day to day, but by re arranging them, they sound like claims that we say in a regular basis.
This is important because by knowing this information, it helps us to understand more about claims. It also helps us to comprehend and realize how we present our claims with these types of categories.
Over all, these types of categories will help you to make claims and at the same time make more sense. If you do not know which category you are using, then you will not know as much of what type of claim you are using.
Hi, Christian! I like your blog! Yes, you are right. By knowing the definitions and validity of the claims, it WILL help us to understand more about claims. And also help us how to represent our own claims. It is also true that if you don't know what category you're using that you won't know which type of claim you are also using. Many people in my life (unfortunately!!) say the stupidest things! I have relatives who always screw up the claims. They mix them up and usually end up making no sense at all!! I can't reason with them because they lack the basic logic to reason intelligently. It is very frustrating!! So I just don't get into anything with them just to keep my sanity and to keep the peace in our family. They also do not want to learn or educate themselves at all. They are happy with the way things are and do not want to take the trouble to advance themselves.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm stuck!! But I think it is sadder for them.
